What I can gather is the 3B has a solid one piece gear and the 7A has a finer gear and looks like is two seperate gears it is held by a circlip not sure if I can just change gears

Hi Quattrito I thought they are the same but apparently on the early cams they had part of the helical gear and the other half of it was on a spring then circlip holding that on,I can only assume that this was done in the machining process and later developed I did think changing the hall sender gear if possible at this rate it would be easier for engine swap any info would be appreciated
