Get some Mitsy Evo Recaros or Recaro Speeds and modify mk.3 Golf Recaro subframes. I love my Speeds, they give plenty of support but can be lived with everyday.

Firstly, the shoulder straps will not be at the right angle (or lack of angle) and secondly. With harnesses and no cage, if the car goes over, you are held too tightly in place to 'duck'.

Fitted to Civic & Integra Type R and Mitsy Evo 3. Other options are the Evo 6, Evo 8 and Accord Type R seats, which have less seat bolstering but the back is very similar. A mate had Evo 8 or 9 seats and they looked great and worked 90% as well as my Speeds.

If you wanted to run buckets and harnesses, then I'd say the minimum requirement would be a correctly fitted harness bar to get the shoulder strap angle to acceptable levels.
If youre' going to fit a cage, then you want to ditch the seat subframes and mount the seat to some floor mounted brackets, so that they're more solid and lower.

These are the Recaro seats from an Evo 7 as fitted to mine
I seem to remember they did them with a red tinted trim that would look good in yours. Can't find any fronts on Ebay at the moment, but these are the rears
Those seat do look good mate, will keep an eye out for some.
I was thinking about the floor mounted brackets for fixed seats but wasn't sure if they fit correctly.
I didn't want to buy a seat and find it won't fit.
You'd have to check but IIRC, the largest angle you want the straps from the horizontal is 20 deg. Should be able to find that out from MSA or manufacturer's website.

Recaro Speed's from an evo are normally the cheapest way to get speeds, the centre sections are an "interesting" colour.
Its easy enough to fit them to a stock subframe with a welder and some flat bar/box section.
Shoulder belts should run horizontally or down no more than 20* according to Schroth. (unless the seats are specifically designed to support the belts)
