I'm seriously considering making my current RS2 hybrid into a full unit, it would cost about the same as a custom map as well as the time spent and fuel used in the process.
As happy as my hybrid seems to be on the RS2+ software I'm running I feel it would better and safer in the long run to do things properly especially when I come to track the car.
I'm not in any rush, the sort of bit's I'm after do come up for the right price every now and then.

Unsure on second hand values as they don't come up all that often, I'm bidding on a good used one on German eBay and won't go over £500.
There's a company on German eBay knocking out recon unit's for approx £800 delivered and there's loads of sellers on there asking between £1000 and £1300 for brand new ones.
Bart has ordered a recon unit from Turbo Technic's via a Romanian agent for considerably less than the deal I noticed on eBay and I'm waiting to see what he actually gets as I phoned up Turbo Technics and they said they could only supply a new unit for £2000!
