Power steering pipe pump to rack

Hey guys, I'm looking to find a power steering pipe from the pump to the rack, new or used for a S2 Aby 1994. Mine split a while ago and i had one made to replace it but I'm thinking that the replacement pipe is still causing my power steering not to work properly. Steering feels fine while driving but as soon as i come to a stand still theres no power steering at all. I have flushed the system with the correct oil, problem still there, changed my pump for a secondhand one, problem still there, so I'm looking to change the pipe that was made for me to a original pipe and see if that cures the problem. So does anyone have a spare pipe laying around from pump to rack ???

Original ones some kind of restrictor inside so that's maybe your problem.I think i may have one off a 3b.not sure if that's same as aby or noto

hi mate, yeah thats what my concern is, also i have read that people who have had a pipe made up the exactly the same diameter as original have also had problems with moaning and noisy steering. I been offered Aby pipes now so i better try one of those, but thanks for the offer and fast helpful reply, cheers.
