Because G60's don't really like smaller pulleys, shortens the service life considerably and places the unit under great stress, a good stock one put's out at least 160 BHP and tons of torque low down, plenty in a MK2 Golf IMO. I want it to a reliable and fun car not something I'm worried is going **** it pants and is hairy to drive.
