aye, campbell - i've seen a couple out there but it's amazing just how few are for sale these days. it was suggested to me that i just go the whole hog and respray the one i've got and you know, that's not such a bad idea. everything works and there are no weird noises etc from it.

i would love this one but it's just a little extravagant! >>

Aye seven and a half is pretty strong man...can't fault it tho, pour that into yours and you would have a real head turner so just a wing and it's solid?? Been round with the screwdriver yet lol did you get Jim?? Remember we have that 2 post lift if you need it for jobs

the tub needs two new wings - just minor corrosion at the trailing lower edge of both wings but the panel beater says that it will just come back through again unless i replace the wings themselves. haven't heard from james at all i'm afraid.

If i had the money i would so you should also in all honesty.As you know it was on ebay several times but this last time seems reasonable ish to me as an offer would be accepted.So he's got to take £6k surely.It's just a shame he's so hung up on making money out of his purchase at £4,995 18 months ago plus a further 12,000 miles added.Its been on sale for a year now.Oh i wonder why......i say with a sarcastic grin Go on this one makes sense!

i am going to use kenneth brown engineering in hillington - he's not far from james' place. he's going to do the boost leak test for me and then i'll sorn it again for the winter and put it up for sale come the spring - it's too late in the season to get a decent price for it now...

He might have paid less than £4,995 as that was the asking price back in jan/feb 2013 here in London around the finchley area.The car back then was advertised on Pistonheads plus it was wearing it's 17" plus speck alloys.Nothing to do with here,but i am sure there are a few lurkers cough/stroke dealers who lurk here and pick up the gossip.

Hard to say really. The usual price is what someone is willing to pay for it. You ovvo really want a tidy one and let us be fair, you are not going to find a better one really, if the blurb and pics are the same in real life. 41k mileage is tiny but for me, that kind of puts me off as I like my cars to be used.

That said, if it has been garaged, kept well, the underside is sweet and everything is as it should be, then I would say £5k was a good buy and its current price is top top money. I would go along with the £6kish price as well as it is not as sought after as other marques but still an excellent car in enviable condition.

The questions to ask really are; How much do you want it? and How much does the owner want to sell it?

Kenny & crazy Jack(the gearbox wizard from Paisley) were part owners in "Eagle Rally Services" back in the dizzay, I believe in the Hillington area at the time. Aye he is the go to guy in the area for geometry.(not cheap) He done a friends quadbike STI and it was night and day... Comical grip! Martin had the 90's tracking done by kenny too.
He has a cq/s2 rally car??
