Radiator fan motor for 3b

I have been looking and the oe part number is 165 959 455AE.
They cross over with a diesel mk2 golf item the spec being 250/350w and 305 mm diameter fan. I can find them from febi cheap enough but it has a different wiring connector meaning I'll have to adjust the loom.
Has anyone got one save me having to replace the loom connector. Not a huge issue but I'd rather not. Many thanks Steven.

I searched for ages then decided to go with a high draw Pacet unit which is good for general usage but you may want something even bigger pull wise for track driving in my opinion.

The OEM was NLA when I delved into sourcing one. If it is just a connector block change then shouldn't be too much of an issue tbh

I have a fan motor in perfect working order gen 68k low mileage of a Nov 1991 20V 7A part number 893 959 455.This is the slightly older part number where the 893was B3 chassis then number changed for the B4 shape. In this case the bosch part number might be of use 0130109229 because of the changes to audi part numbers for the same item.

Anyway if this is any good to you it's £45 delivered.Pm if interested.Cheers.

VDT according to etka the 7a fan was 323959455a this is a two stage 250/150 watt, so it's the wrong wattage I believe.
Part number 893 959 455 crosses over to 443 959 455k but I can't find the wattage etc.

My part number is definitely 893 959 455.Was the Bosch part number of no help? Sorry i can't be of any more help as i have no idea about wattage ect.I just thought it was worth a try for you.It's here for a while should you require it before it goes on ebay at some point.Let's hope some else sorts the exact one out for you

Got one direct from febi part number 06992. I'll have change the plug but that's no hassle
works out about 75 quid for all the bits brand new.

Obsolete with vag and tps. Obsolete with Bosch.
vw heritage wanted 360 quid. So got hold of febi who said yes we got one we will send it tomorrow.
I use Andrew page for febi bits lots and no complaints so far.

Wow,never ceases to amaze me the silly prices Audi come up with.£360 but NLA I think i better hold onto mine in case i need it especially the vintage of it when bosch really meant something and made top quality!

If it were available from vag it's 300 ish heritage have put a further mark up on it.
then traders like veedubmachine Do pattern parts for 45 and febi do it for 70. It goes to show the profit!
anyway my fan and breather pipes should arrive in tomorrow.
these cars just love to keep you on your toes.
