    many thanks.
    sorry

    WOT-wide open throttle

    POS also stands for piece of **** (as the only time you have anything to do with the power output stage is when its acting up )

    From SJM, good info on missfires under load, POS description etc

    450nm for crank pulley with Audi tools, often done as 200nm+180degrees as a DIY alternative. You will need a big torque wrench (norbar 5r style), or a big breaker bar/scaffold tube)

    Crank pulley is about £30 from audi, or about £100 for an after market billet one, its bolted to the back of the harmonic damper/accessory drive, pictures from when I changed mine;

    New billet one

          can anyone tell me if this tool will work with the aan engine?

          http://www.ebay.de/itm/VAG-2084-AUDI...item43cc32f210

          or will i have to take the plunge and buy this one instead?

          http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3810181960...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

          alternatively, can anyone out there please lend me this tool?
          i'd be happy to pay the postage both ways.

          thanks,

            You need the 3256 tool for AAN. I am looking to buy such a tool as well soon. Borrowed one before but is nicer to have thine own.
