aby engine

As the title says I am after an aby engine complete with head etc , how it runs at the minute , is not a problem as I have new pistons etc so I would be planning to rebuild it anyhow.

No worries but I thought it was only things like inlet manifold etc that are different???? block / head the same????

Aby will be a lot easier to convert, front pulleys different as well as pcv system etc

Cheers for comments guys , when I started talking about changeing the engine in my 1990 coupe, everyone said it would be easier to go with the aby engine ,so I started collecting bit for it and this is really my only reason for wanting an aby block.
I've just been to a quarter mile event today in cumbria and there was a white golf running a 20v turbo at 550bhp and now I want one even more badly than before all you guys with the s2 s don't know how lucky you all are....

It is priced very well and cheap considering they are getting hard to find and still in demand.

If people say its expensive then just break it and sell it in bits, you will more than double your €1800 price.
