Friend of mine has just bought his first s2 and quel' surprise the brakes are shocking . So hes looking for an upgrade.
He's has a budget of £450 for a bolt on upgrade kit
Got full Movit kit (minus discs and pads) designed for S2 you can have for £150 collected. Includes bolts, carriers, calipers etc. Were working well when they came off my S2 and have been sitting in a box in my kitchen for the last few months. I did advertise them a while back but either did not have buyers available or could not be bothered to post abroad. I am slightly lazy. I just cannot be bothered to sort out couriers etc and the people who were interested did not want to pay postage. I don't want to give them away but also do not need the money enough to warrant packaging them up etc. Good brakes, just need a bloody good clean.
Sure, they are not running off anywhere. Don't think I have the discs anymore, think they were 323mm. Not sure what other discs you might get to fit but the orig Movit discs are very expensive. I think the 993 TT discs and bells fit but I had some money and wanted new brakes, so to AP I went.
Would rather another S2 owner had them, especially if it stops them hitting a tree due to stock brakes. I might have some new brake lines as well that came with my AP brakes. My old lines were absolutely spot on, so I didnt bother changing them. You can have those as well if you like If I can find them.
And here´s another one:
Porsche 304mm red from RS2. Calipers, carriers, Pads and Discs. In good condition, but discs are not the stock ones; they are 5*112 ones, and need little spacers to fit the carriers (just rings- will be sent with it :-)). Was working with no problems in my S2 for nearly 2 years. Missing: The fluid lines /tubes (don´t know if it´s gonna work with the stock ones) and I think 1 of those metal things that are between pad and caliper is broken- don´t know how necessary it it to change it.
When I got it right, I still have an extra pad set, knew, from TWR laying around. If interested, can add that, too.
