I'm after a replacement k24 turbine housing for my md357 turbo. If anyone has one already machined to fit one great (maybe you upgraded to a #8 housing and still have the #6).
Alternatively any old standard k24 turbine housing or even old knackered complete turbo may do. Ta.
I have a K24 housing machine for an MD357 with a crack in it - its on my scrap pile, yours FOC if you want it?
Otherwise Craig at TDi Turbos will get you fixed up

Thats a good offer. Before I take it off your hands can I ask if you have you already assessed whether it's too risky to fit and decided it's only fit for scrap, as i would probably arrive at same conclusion.
Thanks for the tip on where Craig resides these days.
Tdi turbos use an Audi fitment 0.82 turbine housing now as the old ones are all rather old.
Thanks Andy. If error404s turns out to be too far gone I'll be in touch.
Was tempted with a 0.8 but I thought they were even rarer. Also I think the minimum turbine wheel size is 60mm so would mean a bigger wheel and downpipe for me and I want to keep the mods to a minimum.
Isn't the turbine housing machined to accept the Garrett centre housing. If it is then there will be no drop in KKK replacement. If your turbo is using a KKK turbine housing might be better to read the numbers of it so that you can source something that may be useful, subject to modification.
Unless Error's one works!

Yes they are but the 0.8 Housings I have seen including new ones already have 60 mm exducer and my wheel is 56. Perhaps there are smaller that I haven't come across yet.
There are two different MD357s, the early ones made under Craig's supervision have the 60mm wheel. After that turbo dynamics started fitting a 56mm wheel which is too small really and makes the turbo too aggressive. I had mine converted to the larger wheel and shaft and fitted an .82 hot side, hence my old hot side is no longer required. It's cracked internally, it all appeared fine from external inspection. Like I say, free if you need it, just pay the post which will be around £5 I guess

The KKK26 #8 housing is a direct swap for the KKK26 #6 housing IF the same turbine wheel as fitted to the Audi 200/UR and Porsche 944T 250BHP is being used. The turbine exit is @56mm on both.
Obviously that may be irrelevant if the housings are machined to take Garrett wheels!

Okay, so your old housing is machined to fit my 56 wheel so should fit straight on and sounds like it could be salvageable - cool, I'll take it. I'll pm you regarding payment and add a drink to the bill for your troubles [emoji3]
