    345mm S8 Disc

Anyone got one of these kicking about? I want to test fit one with the 996s but don't fancy throwing £££ at something that might not work...

standard 996 caliper with a 345 disc will need machining from memory...pad sweep isn't correct without some work on the monoblock from memory

I've done the calcs and it's a couple of mm different to the 323mm, so not too bad. Not sure it'll fit under the wheels tbh, hence not wanting to spend much on the testing...

If its the wheel clearance you are worried about (bearing in mind there does apear to be an issue with this combo) just stack the caliper up to the required dimension and try and get your wheel on! Just need some washers and longer bolts which might be easier to source than a disc!

The issue here is that the theoretical difference is 15.5mm radial but due to possibility of the disc hitting the calliper with the OD curvature, it'll need a bit more. Things are so tight that that little bit more could be the difference between it fitting with acceptable clearance and not.

I've already tested it with a few spacers and it's close, so am at the next stage. I'm not sure if diameter is the way forwards or something a little more complete, like the larger 996TT callipers we're discussing on another thread.

The best option would be some 335mm Reyland discs and bells but after trying to get a quote off them, they proved to be pretty useless and it never got off the ground

Bells can't be that difficult to design, so I may look at that one.

                Lots of options...

Again guys if you come up with a 2 piece disc setup that fits under 17 inch rims with good calipers put me down for one if price is fair.

I think I have a s8 345 disc but postage to you would be close to the price of a disc from euro or someplace. I got them in error as I use the 347 mm a6 disc under 4 pots on 17 inch wheels on my urs4.

Too thick for the 425/6 callipers unfortunately
