W: 01E parts

hi !
well somebody try to convert 01E gearbox to FWD..
now I want to bring it back to quattro .. a few things are missing...
well I need it !

something is welded inside , diff and flange are missing..







I thing it fits from all 01E , my is S4 B5 DSY box !

well.. I didnt open the gearbox yet because it arives today.. and I dont have tool for 1 bolt

but I thing that the missing parts are :

I think you better search another gearbox. As, from the pictures. They weld also the other main shaft. I dont think that you need only the torsen diff.

it rotates without problem.. I realy dont understand what did they weld..

For that gearbox to run as FWD both shafts have to be welded together. I think this is what they did.

when I rotate flanges in same direction at same time.. the main shaft is rotating and this welded part stand still...
must open it and see what is going on..

it is low milage DSY box and I would like to fix it !

In this case.... It might be ok!! Even i cant see working as FWD..You have to open'it and check!

some stupid guys try to do something.. and they do nothing than destroy good gearbox !

i will find out what is wrong.. but I also need a parts for it...

Can you give the part numbers of what you need. I have a few 01e boxes in bits.
