Re - Audi s2 Avant

Hi Guys

I am on the hunt for an S2 Avant. I had one years ago and sold her for family reasons. Now things have changed i am looking for a good one as a second / weekend car.

Ideally i would like blue metallic and fairly standard / original condition, but i appreciate there are not many about, so to start narrowing it down at this stage with paint colours etc might leave me looking for hens teeth.

I have a budget of about £6.5k

I am living in the north of scotland, but can travel for the right one.

If anyone knows of a decent S2 avant for sale please let me know. In the meantime i will scour piston heads, ebay, gumtree and the S2 forum to see what i can turn up myself.

The garage I'm going to tomorrow (in your neck of the woods) had one in recently - blue S2 Avant. It was in for some servicing, but (alledgedly) it wasn't particularly great. In fact, I got the impression it was a bit of a shed.

Just wondering if you want to spend all your funds on a great car, or if you want some kind of project?

Hi john I am looking for the best car I can get, rather than a project. I am aware of the one in Elgin and he was asking far too much and too much needs doing to it. If I could find a good tidy example I would spend my funds on that rather than one needing loads of work done. The search goes on, thanks lee
