    KKK K26 #8 Hot-side.

Am slowly collating parts for my Coupe's next incarnation, usually acquiring components as and when they come up but this is something that may take a bit of finding...

I'm after an #8 hot-side for a K26, the housing, wheel and shaft. Needs to be in good serviceable condition, would strongly prefer a housing with no cracks.

Would also be interested in separate parts.

It was purchased for me by Tdi turbos when they rebuilt my turbo recently. I don't know their source. I had to have mine machined to fit my turbine wheel as there wasn't a bolt on size available but if you're buying the wheel also you won't have this problem. Cost about 300 plus vat including the machine work and fitting. Image shows the new unit with the old #6 next to it.

In performance terms I'm yet to find out. The turbo is on but the larger housing moves the downpipe position and as a result the wastegate flange on the downpipe no longer aligns. The downpipe mod is still in progress.

I have the same .82 housing on my MD357 from TDi. Mine was machined for a 60mm wheel so not sure of original size, 56mm maybe?
I think the inlet is modified to suit a KKK flange

That seems like a pretty good deal, what spec turbine wheel are you using,? Not had a chance to phone them yet but will see if I can find time in the morning.

I've just found the email with the quote, actually 348 gbp Inc fitting (314 without). The rest of the turbo is a gt3071r with 56.6mm turbine wheel.

Albert: the housing entry/exit size is identical between my. 6 and. 82 housing. It's only the a/r ratio thats different. (Google will explain a/r better than I could).
