  • C4 A6 1996/6 wanted to parts to repair my 30V

    As per title I'm after a complete C4 A6, the facelift model, to repair the front end of my 30V quattro saloon and I think it makes sense to buy a complete car.

    It need's...

    Bonnet,
    Bumper,
    Lights and indicators.
    Slam.
    Radiator.
    Fans and housing
    Various fixings and ducts etc.

    I've got an eye on eBay etc and missed out on a silver estate for £200 by pontificating and got beaten to it by one day.

    A Red car would be ideal....but any colour will do if the price is right.

    So if anybody has a car that want out their way let know, can be a non runner, knackered gearbox, blown head gaskt, hell even no interior or rear end damaged etc plus it really needs to be one of the V6 variants.

    I decided against getting a URS6 as I have a lovely RS2 and would rather the funds went towards her restoration but as I need an estate for work so I picked a really tidy 2.8 C4 quattro estate last weekend instead which I'm chuffed with.

    I want to fix the 30V saloon as its a very rare car and in great condition with excellent history apart from a duffed front end...it may be getting a couple of K24's attached down the line to boot.

      I'm sure someone will as their thin on the ground, a really good one would fetch URS6 money or thereabouts. However I don't do a huge amount of miles so am happy with a V6, plus it's done 350K! and is tatty whereas i paid £500 for each of my V6's and their in much better condition....well one doesn't look to hot at the moment but it's not that bad, Land-rover's aren't very soft.

      The C4 I bought before Christmas is lovely to drive and not that slow to be fair, it's done 118K with FSH though does need some odds and sods sorting for the next MOT but nothing expensive.
