        Have a look at Irishs2 post - My 95 S2 Avant Project. LZ5T Coolness
He has put in a good write up on sunroof overhaul I think it is from P12 onwards, I have just taken my sunroof cartridge out of my RS2 and have the same issue's it doesn't look to bad same problem I think end off the pipes are corroded and are pinching the cables that run inside I priced up new cables from A/T Part Number: 895898015 132.69 Euro's and then for a laugh just checked to see if they had the full sunroof cartridge and they do Part Number: 8A9877011 at a bargain price off1167.39 Euro's.

        Good luck with your overhaul.

        John

Don't get me started on dealer prices they are not right in the head, think I have one sorted not too far away so fingers crossed it'll be done sooner rather than later
