Number Plate Surround

Anyone got a spare rear number plate surround for an Avant they would be willing to sell. Just the black plastic bit that sits between the rear lamps. I've lost mine!

lost it? let me double check as i think ive still got my old one as ive replaced it with an rs2 rear end...just moved house so it might be in my big box of audi bits.

sure ill have a look tonight, no promises as i did throw some bits away before i moved but cant remember what!

Well...... If you put new number plates on at the rear you should note that the number plate screws also hold the trim surround in place and if you then simply stick your new plates on with tape the trim will probably work loose.....there is some sealant which will hold the trim firm enough for you to assume that the panel is held by means other than the number plate screws....Your shiny new number plate and your trim panel will then fly off at speed and go under the wheels of the next chap. You did ask
