It only divides the VR1 sensor(gear teeth). The other one is untouched. The board was developed for Porsche/VAG cars since they all seem to use a similar setup. The hall is being used by megasquirt 2 extra for the dual wheel setup. I need an RPM signal first before I can worry about the hall working.

Does VEMS need the hall effect trigger pulse to align within the crank reference window - much like on Motronic ?

Maybe the translator board is skewing the timing maybe - is it configurable in some way.

Guess you need a scope to see whats occurring........

The hall sensor is need to tell the EMS what stroke the cyl 1 is on at each TDC. Either the translator board isn't combing/diving the signal or outputting it correctly or I have software configuration issues. I have a friend who is loaning me his scope later this week so hopefully that will get to the bottom of it.

VEMS needs cam hall, otherwise it would start 50% of time
