Nice, go around the world without tuning. Ah ha

Is this something that would allow you with a switch to have E85 switching to E10?

the flex fuel sensor will detect the fuel in the fuel line.
Send data to the controller how many percentage of ethanol.

Output to VEMS's aux by voltage.
Require configuration in VEMS (any trim)

          Ok.
So vems will have a voltage compensation depending on ethanol %.

How will it affect your map?

E10-E100 VE Map are the same
Point is tune E10 to base VE Map
MCP Ch2 add any trim to add fuel form Exx-E85 at last picture.

at the same VE Map I found
            E20 use Fuel Req = 3.9
            E85 use Fuel Req = 5.0 (128%)
So I use Fuel Req = 3.9 in Flex Fuel Config and then add Any Trim 129.4% by flex fuel sensor
my sensor show only E77-80 when I used E85 not mind

Are you going to be using multiple Excuse fuels or say 2 basic ones?.

As you could have easily used a config switch and have 2 maps in there with a switch and flick that whenever you used the specific fuel

Config B for enable Flex Fuel Sensor E10=>E85
Ignition Lambda Boost are weight to E85
normaly I fill E85 whenever I can't find E85 gas station so I can fill up E10,E20 at any ratio

                Config A for Pure E85

I see. So the fuel flex will tell you what the mix is so that in config B you will be able to set it right and move on if you cannot find the proper E85 fuel at the time.

                  Nice!

One better, it will just update the required fuel value automatically. I'd think that you may want to drop the boost a bit too.

Fixed Fuel Req =3.9ms for E10-E85 (or you can use your own)

AnyTrim correction will add automatically by Volt of Flex Fuel Sensor
I wire output of Flex Fuel Sensor to Auxiliary Ch2 of Vems

Add Boost too, I'm not sure it should be picture below

                      Add Ignition too, 0-4 degree

Is the sensors signal wire connected straight to VEMS or does it go to the LCD readout first? My understanding is that the sensor outputs frequency that's read by the ECA/LCD, which then is converted to 0-5V and wired to the ecu's to read volts as opposed to frequency. Was this how you wired it?

Can these sensors detect methanol or is it ONLY ethanol???

Over on the Dta forum some people reported the sensors Do work with methanol although the percentage may have been slightly out. Not a biggie though because your going to tune the fuel/ignition compensation after installing the sensor.

Apparently water content skews the sensor too which is slightly disconcerting as alcohol is hygroscopic!
