the flex fuel sensor will detect the fuel in the fuel line.
Send data to the controller how many percentage of ethanol.
Output to VEMS's aux by voltage.
Require configuration in VEMS (any trim)

E10-E100 VE Map are the same
Point is tune E10 to base VE Map
MCP Ch2 add any trim to add fuel form Exx-E85 at last picture.
at the same VE Map I found
E20 use Fuel Req = 3.9
E85 use Fuel Req = 5.0 (128%)
So I use Fuel Req = 3.9 in Flex Fuel Config and then add Any Trim 129.4% by flex fuel sensor
my sensor show only E77-80 when I used E85 not mind

Config B for enable Flex Fuel Sensor E10=>E85
Ignition Lambda Boost are weight to E85
normaly I fill E85 whenever I can't find E85 gas station so I can fill up E10,E20 at any ratio
Config A for Pure E85

Fixed Fuel Req =3.9ms for E10-E85 (or you can use your own)
AnyTrim correction will add automatically by Volt of Flex Fuel Sensor
I wire output of Flex Fuel Sensor to Auxiliary Ch2 of Vems
Add Boost too, I'm not sure it should be picture below
Add Ignition too, 0-4 degreeAttached FilesLast edited by KRIENG; 24 May 2013, 14:37.

Over on the Dta forum some people reported the sensors Do work with methanol although the percentage may have been slightly out. Not a biggie though because your going to tune the fuel/ignition compensation after installing the sensor.
Apparently water content skews the sensor too which is slightly disconcerting as alcohol is hygroscopic! The ONLY S2 Golf!
