Same her. Used the plug and play solution on my RS2, never had any problems what so ever... Seems like a stable platform compared to some other brands.

How plug-and-play is it? ...and where can I find this solution and what sort of $$$ are we talking?

As plug and play as it gets I would say.
There is an adapter between the Autronic ECU and the wiring harness. This is a kit Autronic suplies. Never had trigger problems and all sorts of stuff that apears on other solutions.
I fitted the ECU, loaded up the base map, and hey presto.
I have to say Autronic SM4 is starting to get old and outdated, but it works. MaxEcu is another solution I would have looked into.
