So, trying to find suitable calipers for my car I stumbled on a pair of GT3 calipers. They are not cheap, but they are at the right price for me to start thinking about it. These are 4 piston calipers from a '00 I believe (later were massive 6-pts). Now - I need to know if I can squeeze them onto a 322mm disc. I do not want 18" wheels period. I can concider 17" in the winter but not 18" in the summer. To decide wheter I should go this down the Gt3 path I need to know all the meassurements of the 330mm GT3 disc. How big is the friction area? I know I'll need custom calipers but that is more of a good than a bad thing. I'd also like the meassurements of the 322mm disc from a RS2. Can anyone please help me?

Check the ebc pad list and other vendors´ lists that may have the pad sizes in their catalogs. Then you get the pad area.
Brembo had a good disc list that offered disc dimensions.

Try the Ferodo website, they have an application guide which shows sizes of pads etc for different cars, might be able to work it out from that?

Ok, I've just come to the conclusion that there is no reasnoble disc avaliabe. Question is - can I use these caliper with a 30mm disc? Can I do something to be able to use a 30mm disc?
Oh and also... If I get the GT3 discs - how do I modify these to fit my car? I mean, that's 5-112 and 5-130.Last edited by Henka; 23 June 2005, 11:11.Comment
