I called at a ford breakers yesterday in Stockport.
The chap was there by himself and couldn't spare much time, I didn't have any camera with me and no measuring equipment.
The Ford Scorpio >95 5 stud 5 x 112 PCD has the same hat height as the S" rear **** face to face. The differences are:
5mm larger in diameter 278mm?
thicker disk total height due to vented design. 25mm thick vented bit.
Centre locating hole is smaller and would need machining out
cost seems to be about £14-£15 each new.
The vented bit makes it thicker and so a spacer would be needed to move it away from the hub face. An alternative would be to make custom brake carriers to move the calipers in a bit.
The scorpio solid disk calipers and mounting brackets seem to be identical to the s2 coupe items. usual price is £35 ish from breakers
The scorpio vented disk and carrier seems to be identical but allows for the different thickness of the vented disk ( and possibly diameter) usual price is £45 ish from breakers.
I don't have the time to mess about with the rear disks i'm afraid so will not be following this up for a while.... like finishing the house etc.etc.etc.
Would someone else like to chase this possible option up please?

P.S. the later scorpio went to 4 stud! maybe this could be an option for the 4 stud coupes etc. vented calipers may still be ok though?

The day i bolt on parts from the dreaded "blue oval badged skip" is the day they prise the key to my S2 from my cold dead hand!!!!
