been offered one, will this work for my power stearing on my servo brake conversion?

I looked into that too. I never followed it through though. It's not a big deal if you don't get the ECU that controls the pump - but you'll need to sort out some kind of pressure sensor to turn the pump on/off - it's not supposed to run all the time, just when the pressure drops. I think it's a really nice setup, albeit a bit overkill. F.I - look at Subaru, no pump, just a directinal valve and a line from the IM!
