Mine's not dead yet, but not to good.... and I would really like all parts related to brakes to be as new!

At least the "family album" says different parts... 100/200/URS4 has the same part, 443 612 061H, and S2/RS2 has 4A0 612 061D... probably not big difference between 061H and 061D, but don't know...

Found this in a thread on audifans.com...

"This is a brand new unit made by Meyle, West Germany.

Here's the info off the Box:

                      Meyle Part Number: 100 612 00 02
                      As per Audi: 443 612 061H

                      All 6: Brk press accum 443 612 061B
                      443 612 061D

The above exactly as it appears on the box."

All our S2's use the later type which is OE part number 4A0 612 061D @ £267+vat from the main dealers and £100 less from us for the OE part. The part changed in 1990 for the Coupe from the early one 893 612 061C to the later part 4A0 612 061D for the S2 Coupe, Avant and RS2.

The two types do mount differently yes, apart from that, the difference is not that obvious! it could be operating pressure in which case.... ;-)

                              FEBI bomb

The FEBI site lists the part no as 14176 which relaces the AUDI bomb with part no's ending in 'H' and 'D'.

Who's going to buy one first then and just check?
