RS2 Porsche Brembo's @ last !!!!

Guys,

Got into London for 9am, finished work for 11am , got the train home, jumped into motor, drove 160 miles up the M6, collected a full set F&R RS2 Porsche brakes & discs from that chap breaking the RS2 on Ebay .

First thing in the morning, I am gonna drop them off to my mate who is gonna strip, blast, & repaint them.

I will take a pic when they are done.

I hope they will be ready for the 8th, cos its our 2nd Wedding Anniversary.

I hope my wife likes them. .

Nice 2nd wedding anniversary present, beats a gift of "cotton" any day! Still, we've just had our 3rd anniv, and the traditional gift to exchange was leather this time

What's your car by the way? Do you have an S2 or an RS2? Did you also get the caliper brackets and bolts, hoses etc? Are you planning to install them on your car?

I have a 96' S2 coupe. I have just fitted S8 alloys, & needed something to fill the gap.
My mate is gonna make the brackets, & fit them once they have been refurbed.

Going on what ive seen of his prices if you got them for anything less than a grand youve got a bargain.

Did he sell the grille to someone else Jamo? If he did then he's defo a wa**er of the highest order. I sent him two emails telling him to give you it rather than me.

The guy breaking the RS2 replied me that he is going to sell the vehicle as a whole. And now this. Great.

@Imran - you will have difficulties fitting the RS2 discs to the S2 I'm afraid - the RS2 diss are designed for a Porsche hub/stud pattern which is 5x130mm, not the 5x112mm that Audi use.....

Have to agree with dan. The discs are not compatable with S2 hub. And to think you could have bought my standard refurbished RS2 front calipers. Oh well never mind

2 text messages and 3 emails, no response mate.

As you were saying at Donnington maybe better of buying new.

To be honest it's not a priority, next month i'm on RS2 bumper watch
