Big 'Reds' colour....???

Hey every1!

My Big reds,not only need some maintanance(vag parts to thank for that,parts are on the way...),but also some painting job...

Now of course everyone would agree that since they are called big Reds,they should be red,but what about if i paint them black instead?
I was thinking of doing something to reduce the eye attracking of the red colour....
suggestions?

big blacks exist already (and bigger pistons than the red's) off a 928gts/S4 i think. Personally stealth for me so black or silver

I like mine red, car looks understated but the brakes hint at something a lil more.

ah its the GTS version then, just checking it looks like the reds and balcks have the same piston sizes 36/44, sure i read somewhere that the blacks had 38/44's

Same colour as your car! I was thinking navy blue for my dark blue car for example...

i could do them navy blue as is my car.Besides every1 thinks my car is black anyway,but then it wouldnt match any of porsche's colours.

If i paint them yellow,then i miss the point in making them stelthy and unnoticable.

Silver is always a choice i pressume....
Black will look very close to my car colour...

by any chance anyone able to locate a left side 993 turbo s yellow caliper? I've decided to run with yellows on my black car, the good news is I found a right side for 400$ and now vey difficult to locate a left side. I was told by some suppliers that I will need to fork up 800$ to obtain the rare turbo s yellow caliper. Is this a rare part in the UK?

Small reds and big reds have the same size pistons (36/44) but big calipers have considerably larger pad area thus more power.

well i went with black,but not shiny black(otherwise it wouldnt be much of a incoginto look now would it?)plain black,dull version.
i know i know,it sounds dull,but hey!Im not into appearances all that much.Im into the inside of the car that counts!
