Dont know about the caliper, but I believe you can only fit A8 disk with the 16"avus rims.

BRY is the mann who knows it all. This is what i got from him:

    3) A8 323mm discs for a 17" wheel from Audi or local Motorfactor
or A8 314mm discs for a 16" wheel from Audi or local Motorfactor

                Check this

He has them on the 314mm disc.
I doubt that they will fit as they are a much bigger caliper than the 996 Boster 's'

I found this on the internet some time ago, This company sells a uprated kit for audi cars. They say that gt3 front calipers must fit in a 16"wheel (But i really doubt that)

"This kit has been quite popular here in the US as the stock S4/S6 brakes are not very effective at stopping this heavy & powerful vehicle under track conditions. There are currently 2 front kits for this car.....a 993 turbo caliper kit and the new 996-GT3 monoblock kit. Both use Porsche's 322x32mm "perforated" (the holes in the rotors are cast, not drilled) disks. The GT3 monoclock calipers are more rigid (these will most likely be the stock calipers on the new 996 turbo cars) and use a slightly larger (78.3 sqcm vs 75.3 sq cm) brake pad. We currently do not offer a rear kit for these models.

993 Turbo Front Kit (specify red or black calipers) $2,495.00
GT3 Front Kit (red calipers only) $2,795.00
                  5mm Spacers (H&R) $55.00/pair
10mm Hubcentric Spacers (TUV approved) $100.00/pair
                  15mm Hubcentric Spacers (H&R) $100.00/pair
Lug Bolts (M14x1.5)(specify length, conical or ball seat) $3.50 each

Either kit will work with factory 16" alloys although spacers may be required. H&R's 5mm spacers will work with steel wheels but a 10mm hubcentric spacer must be used with 16" alloys to properly stabilize the wheel. Spacers are generally not required with 17" or larger wheels. Don't forget the longer lug bolts is you purchase spacers
                  . "
