No fault of yours chap, I'm just glad I made it back from Manchester in one piece! i've never seen anything like it before.

Anyway, an upgrade will be an early birthday present to myself!!

Update

Agreed with selling dealer to take the car to my local Audi dealer. They've looked it over and suggested new front discs/pads and handbrake shoes.

Best of all though, the selling dealer has agreed to pay for the whole lot Not a quibble!

At present Audi prices, amounts to over £900 in total!

Funniest quote was for the wheelnuts - 9.46 each (x20) = £177.85!

A result indeed. I'm getting very assertful in my old age!

I will see how these go, but as i've mentioned in another post, I may pick up some 996 GT3 Mk1 calipers this weekend, going for £360.

Thats if they're easy enuff to fit to the RS! I don't want any messing about when it comes to replacement parts etc.
