    b5 S4 front brakes

I'm wondering, could I fit on my s2 the front brakes calipers from b5 S4? What modifications I would need to fit them?

Anything is possible but I would be surprised if anyone has done this yet as the Porsche monoblock route is the preffered choice amongst many here. Although you sure they are a standard S4 caliper? I thought the b5 used HP2's?

I think those are HP2's only painted in some nice way . I also know where Renoks can source pair of calipers for 10 quid DDD

      P.S. I'm attaching picture of A8 calipers aren't those the same ?

Totally agree, Porsche is porsche, but those s4 calipers I can get very cheap ~100e for both+ a8 new discs ~100e, so.. Everyone knows, that porsce monoblocs price starts from at least 300e + discs+ mounting braclets. That why because Im interested on those calipers witch would be realy not to bad upgrate for my s2
and those brake calipers is from 99 s4 2.7bt, not the same like on 4.2 a8 or etc.

It is possible, although one problem might be the fact that the HP2 is also a lug mount caliper but with the bolts holes being 146mm b/c and the S2 being 94mm b/c this would allow you to at least have space for a bracket although whether this would be thick enough to allow the correct offset is open to debate.
As a standard brake setup they are very good, I still have them on my urS6 and they get hammered on a daily basis, although they are wearing braided lines and DOT5.1 fluid also.
          Try it, hope it works

Well, I checked ETKA and the calipers from b5 S4 looks a bit diferent then calipers from A8 or urS6 AAN. Even the brake disc on s4 are biger 321x30, than on a8 314x30..

The only difference I know are the S4's are all aluminium whereas the S6's are partly steel.

P.S. I know that the part number and pads are different, however never heard, that HP3 are any better than HP2

I looked at fitting these brakes a couple of years ago and can confirm pretty much 100% that it can't be done, completely different design in hub fixing etc, and no room for a bracket.
