    Custom brake bells,

Has anybody ever had a set of brake bells made up for two piece disks? I'm looking for some links so i can get a few quotes,

    Thanks,

    Mark.

I had mine made by a company called BG Developments, worked out about £120 for the pair. They are an AP dealer too

rotoryboy, you think the bells can be used on the rear?

It seems that the bells would be ideal to adapt to hats and make a custom upgraded rear brake setup.
Wonder if they would sell to the States?

For the rear upgrade the issue is not the disc but the caliper and the integral handbrake mechanism

Isn't it cheaper to make a go for custom bracket ? Of course floating type disc is way ahead in terms of braking (especially if dir vented), but some ppl just don't have enough money to spend on car and on !@*(!# furniture same time .

I would say Volvo S60 disc (heavy, ugly, cheap) and a custom brackets can be an option. You can "machine" missing holes on it even by handdrill in extreme cases. However like always - thinking cheap is compromise .

Stock S2/CQ20v disks are 276mm, i want 300mm to use with Porsche Boxster 986 calipers. I'm just pricing the setup as it would be the best option, for a cheap solution i am looking into VW transporter/sharan disks that are almost identical to the stock disks but 300mm and 5 stud.

This is the link you were after, ask for Steve who run an Audi track day car and knows his brakes.

                              Peugeot 406 V6 is 4x108 and uses a 305x28mm disc. May be useful ?
