Urs6 Brake Pad Warning

I have recently changed the front pads in the S6, previous owner had cut the wires off the pads and also the connectors into the loom, now i have the pad warning light on, but not all the time, eh!!!! On both sides the loom wiring has been cut and both the wires have taped together, any ideas how i can stop the pad warning light from coming on and off??

By the looks of things the wires disappear into the main loom, i am not too fussed about restoring it's funcionality as i tend to check pads and other bits on a regular basis anyway.

As long as the 2 wires are connected together this will lead the autocheck unit to think that the pads are ok. If the warning light is on then the wires are not connected, I would recheck them to be sure.
