Just to throw in my perspective - don't bother spending money to "upgrade" your existing parts by retaining the existing caliper and disc sizes, it'll made sod all difference frankly. If you want better braking power with better fade resistance, the only real route to success is: bigger disc (which gives stronger clamping force and a bigger heat-sink area) plusbigger caliper (which gives stronger clamping force and a bigger heat-sink area) plus higher friction and higher temperature pad (which gives you more "work" on the disc surface and operates up to a higher temperature before destroying itself).

I sorted myself out with a set of 2nd hand RS2 calipers (Porsche 968CS), 304mm Audi A8 discs and Ferodo DS2500 pads, plus all the associated bits for around the £500 mark. There's heaps of info here about brake upgrades and heaps of people who can supply you the parts!

Spend a little bit more and get it right first time, you'll save in the long run.

                  Good luck.
