The BOMB and (!) light are fixed!!!! YES!!

    An update folks.....
Thanks for all tech assistance on the problem I had with my new Bomb.....(the light still stayed on for anyone who hasnt read the thread)

I managed to fix the beast last night
Turned out a wire to the Brake fluid reservoir had become damaged so I rewired it and BINGO

The light wne toff and the brakes are spot on,,,,,,,

Though annoyingly it was immediately replaced with this

Though its far less bothersome than hydraukics (no new servo needed!! hydraulic pump fine etc)

Cant see a bulb out so Im going to check the circuits out then move on to the next jobs (abs sensor...light.//// etc etc etc!)

    Cheers n

Thats what I was saying mate....there is no bulb out from a quick check last night (tho it was late!!) meaning multimeter time
Unless I was just being dozy. Hope so and I'll find shortly

1st one is minor bulb, 2nd is major bulb, have you got HID's?

Only ever got that 2nd one when my HID's weren't grounded correctly.

            1st = "brake" light failure.
2nd = Bulb failure-dipped headlights or rear lights.

Are you sure the first one isn't just when you start the car?

The S2 always displays that, then "OK" if all is okay. If you have bulb Failure you then get the secondary Bulb failure signal like you are seeing...

                Cheers,

                Steve.

Could be the rear light/brake light bulb.
These have two elements and the brighter one should ignite when the brake peddle is pushed down.

It should display that when the car first starts and then switch to OK once the brakes have been used once.

If its not switching then check rear light/brake light bulbs. Funnily enough i had one of the elements go in mine just the other day. It turns out that water had made its way in the the nearside back bulb holster and the galvanized connectors corroded so much that they eventually begun to rust and then shorted everything out . Took about an hour to clean the connections and the track wiring. . But its all working again now.

                    Good luck
