How much to sell std. front S2 brakes for...

My mate expressed interest in my S2 front brakes for his golf rallye. Hes been told that corrado/golf VR6 brakes or S2 brakes are a good upgrade for his rallye, and obviously with the S2 being a heavier car the brakes should be better for him (or something to that effect).
How much should i charge him for them then? I've got no idea, but i supose about 40% of their value new...? It should stir me onto getting a big brake upgrade kit sooner rather than later before he sources some other brakes!

I only got £87 for mine, and they were sandblasted, painted and had a new refurb kit (£20).

I paid £50 for mine when I thought it might be handy to have a spare set! (I had only jsut bought the car and thought it was a GREAT idea!) they are still sat in my garage. I have toyed with the idea of putting them on my golf but can't be arsed....

I need a set of front calipers ideally refurbed for my S 2......

Cant you take them out of the bin pleeeeeease (or are they in a skip!)

£70 i think mine went for for the calipers and some part used mintex M1144 pads. If you want to clean them up, cover them in some degreaser and use a wire brush to get rid of anything loose then stick on high temp hammerite, leave to dry then use a cloth and give them a good rub - the finish is excellent and I have yet to repaint the existing rears after doing it 4 four years ago.
