If you're doing it by yourself, I'd recommend getting the Gunsons Ezibleed from Halfrauds, it makes the fluid change a doddle to do. It uses the pressure of your spare tyre to push fluid through.

Does it make any difference if you have a RHD car, should it be rear left, rear right etc ...Rear left being furthest from the master cyl ?

Usually it is the line furtherest from the M/C first, then in decreasing order of line length. Unless the manufacturer specifies some fiendish procedure like some BMW with traction control!

Correct, it's to do with distance from the master cylinder. There's no point bleeding the shortest one first only to then bleed the longer ones afterward as you'll end up pulling crunty old gack through in to the short run that you'd already bled.

Do the longest runs first, and bleed a significantly larger amount of clean fluid through than you'd expect - in S2Central it says to allow 500ml per corner, which I'd say is right.

Yep and it added to the confusion

                    20v.org says, (US Site)

1 Brake master cylinder, then proportioning valve
                    2 Right rear
                    3 Left rear
                    4 Right front
                    5 Left front

Bentley Manual same as above (US Publisher)

                    S2Central says, (UK Site)

                    1. Clutch (Master then Slave)
                    2. Master cylinder (if bleed screw fitted)
                    3. Rear Passenger Side
                    4. Rear Driver Side
                    5. Front Passenger Side
                    6. Front Driver Side

And the site you linked says (UK Site)

                    1 Right rear
                    2 Left rear
                    3 Right front
                    4 Left front

So i think its wrong to be honest...

quoted directly from the worskhop manual so not sure why you think it's incorrect.

The manual does not specify a difference for lhd and rhd.

According to my system it is as follows:

                        Bleeding sequence

1 - Brake master cylinder (if bleeder screw fitted)
                        2 - Rear right wheel brake cylinder/calliper
                        3 - Rear left wheel brake cylinder/calliper
4 - Front right brake calliper
5 - Front left brake calliper

Question about bleeding RS2 Brembo calipers. As we know they have two nipples per caliper (each side has one). Is it crucial to bleed both of them?
