@Doug - Just remember to tie up the horse first - yeehaw !

@Dean - there are other tests listed for the bomb on S2 Central's brake/hydraulic section. Is the fluid in your hydraulic reservoir red or green ?

I only meant to disconnect it to see if it did stop it - and if it does then you have pinpointed it to that sensor or the level of hydraulic fluid - I didn't mean disconnect it and leave it like that

Everything looks OK fluid wise and the brake pedal test is OK too

Hydraulic fluid. Top it up. I used to get it occasionally till I did that. (Beep etc with red thingy)

its worth checking the sensor connection on the top of fluid reservoir and that it moves freely.

Especially if you take the cap off without first disconneting the electrical sensor.

Might have a bad connection or the float is getting stuck in wrong place.

Fluid level looks fine - there are 2 marks on the side of the reservior. It is level with the top one.

I've checked the connection and pulled the float out - lets see what happens when I go out in the car next.

                  Cheers

                    Sorted!

Must have just been a sticking float or something
