Textar Pads

Hey gurus,

Time to change the old 996 brake pads so looking to find the cheapest source and for verification of the porsche model for my monos......

Planning to stay with the Textars for several reasons: -

1. Porsche fit them so they can't be bad.
2. The last set felt good
3. If you ask on here you get 37 different opinions including EBC reds and greens and Hawk, all of which I think are bolax.
4. my discs are bedded in with Textars and therefore I will get maximum braking efficiency (read up on the physics of disc brakes if you don't understand)

So, with the price of porker products varying wildly, which of you clever sods has found the best price for Textars? I'll open the bidding with £45 from GSF. These are described as for the BOXSTER S 99> 911 996 CARRERA 3.4 97>....which sounds about right to me, but it does not state wether the rollers are there.

Also found 'BOXSTER S/996 Front Pads with disc protection pads TEXTAR' for £48 from type-911.co.uk

Any help repaid in beer (believe me, I travel with a fridge)

Why local sellers here rob their clients ? . Maybe because they sell 2 sets per year .

Cheapest Textars I've seen here were about per 70 quid per set . So payed 2x for the ferodos 2500.
