    Marlin Handbrake solution

    Hey guys,

Have been on about this in another thread so I have started this one pin point any problems people see with this solution and so I can let people know about prices when I find out....

Just out of interest what calipers would people be using on the rears? The 996 ones or others, let me know on here so that I can hit the guy with as much information as possible.

WAB has offered to engineer some of these things too. Iwould like to get my hands on one so we can see the full logistics and work out if the plates are that thick that there is no wedge action on the disc.

I know that this has been mentioned a thread before (last year) but there was no further info it just stopped dead.

If you require any Info or need to voice any fears about this system stick them on here so I can nail it all in one go.....

    Cheers Guys

Got some bad news on this one guys now.

He has given up on this process as it is quite involved. He had assured me though that there was no "wedging" onto the disc and there was a mechanism that did not allow the pistons to be pushed further out with the handbrake on. He also said that the plates are 10mm thick (this helped to prevent "wedging") so a 20mm extra wide caliper was needed. He does however have a few sets left that fit Willwood calipers.
    Bummer.

    Next plan....
