It depends, how badly it's damaged. You can try to rethread it first and check how it looks, if it looks bad - you will need helicoil. Oh well, one of the problems, that it must not be very deep, because bleeding nipple needs cone part of the hole to seal itself.Originally posted by AUDI9020V
Second question about fronts on the rear - I have rear calipers at the front, and have developed front setup with 4x108 discs. I'm not pleased with it, because brake balance has gone too much to the rear, and brakes are very hard to push. However I've heard success stories.
But there's one thing that is essential and makes me keep that setup - it looks very good, however it would be cheaper way to keep original brakes, and just by caliper caps.
