    Porsche Brake Upgrade

Just picked up my Cupra R carriers today to embark on the monoblock upgrade.

I have now got together all the parts for the upgrade bar the discs.

A quick call to GSF and Euro have the 314mm discs comming in at roughly the same price. GSF sell Brembo, Euro ATE.

Any thoughts which make to go for?

I got the brembo ones and they have been really good, bit i like most is they come with the bell and the disc edge painted in a zincy type primer so no surface rust yet Never tried the ATE ones but imagine they are pretty good too, pays your money, takes your choice

Unless the Brembo discs offer a significant weight reduction, or have a dramatically better internal vane structure to aid cooling, I personally can't see what you'd gain by getting the more expensive disc. I used OE A8 discs on my brake upgrade conversion, did the job beautifully, and at a reasonable cost. Just my tuppence-worth.

I got the 323mm Brembos for mine. The calipers are Brembo, so why not.
