    collapsed rear pads

I had a problem with my rear callipers binding and squeelling, so today i investigated the problem, found that the pad abrasive had collapsed on the inner pad so it was on the metal, then when i removed the outer that collapsed too.

Reasembled ok with new ebc pads. Used my uncles garage then a bit later to do the otherside as it started to rain. When i forced the pads away from the disk the same thing happend with the linner collapsing. Not sure when they were last changed, they looked preety old and about half worn. Has anyone else had this?

im not sure if i've had the exact problem but ive melted 2 sets of calipers now. Shame there isnt a tried and tested upgrade option for the back (a bolt on package).
