...actually, a bit of advice would be much appreciated.
My handbrake's knackered...the handle won't hold itself up on the rachet - I think I've snapped the locking bit inside that holds it into the cogs when up.
Been told I need a whole new brake handle...that sound right?
So, is it a PITA to change the whole brake handle assembly or a POP? I've taken off the plastic console and it all looks pretty simple underneath (been quoted 2 hours quoted labour at the local shop).
Anyone done this before?
And a little off topic - I posted a while ago asking if a ticking WGFV when giving the throttle a good blip was OK...never really got an answer - anyone know?
