Front Discs for the UFO brake setup

Can i use the 312mm, 314mm discs with the UFO brake setup or does it have to be the 310mm discs stated.

If you are keeping the original UFO setup then your only option is OE, after that it is a custom Porsche setup.

If you have s4 with ufo setup <93, u can use all brake setup from newer s4/s6 (93>), just u have to find and change those brakes complete with struts.. Not same level like porsche setup, but much better then ufo

Can the discs be modified to fit over hubs?

You're fighting a losing battle I'm afraid! The bottom of the ufo struts is completely different to anything else. Your only available options are to either swap the struts for the later S4 and S6 struts and use the HP2 twin pot calipers with the 314mm discs or to go completely custom!! If you can find a set of S6 struts for sensible money then replacement discs will be cheaper but pads are more expensive. You'll always have the option of upgrading at some point and I believe the Porsche Cayenne calipers bolt straight up to the HP2 strut but you'll still need custom discs! If I were you I'd bite the bullet and get a Porsche upgrade for the existing struts! That's what I'm having done (cue Corey!!) and if you're thinking about running serious power then you'll need all the stopping assistance that you can get!

The "best" option for C4 brake upgrades for a C4 UFO car would be:

                1. Change to UrS4/S6 front struts
                2. Buy RS2 brackets
                3. Buy Big Red 993tt or Big Black 928GTS Brembo/Porsche calipers
                4. Buy Audi A8 323x30
                5. Buy assorted Porsche and Audi mounting bolts, hoses and pads
                6. Assemble (and bleed)
                7. Drive like a fool, brake like a champ.

Going to go custom i think. Do i need to change the hubs for the Porsche custom setup?

We never got the crappy G60 struts (we just got the even crappier UFO's and nearly excellent HP2's) you guys got over there so it fails at number 2 as RS2 brackets don't work on S4/S6's.
