Needing Advice: B5 S4 Quattro rear subframe to B4 Quattro Sedan. Handbrake Solutions?

B5 S4 Quattro rear subframe fitted to B4 Quattro Sedan, hand brake cables from B5 doesn’t marry up to B4 handbrake mechanism.

Has anyone done the subframe swap before and has an easy solution?

Can you upgrade to the S4 brakes? I fitted B6 S4 rear brakes to my S2 Avant with b4 cables no issues other than swapping the cable lever on the calipers.

I have B5 S4 rear brakes with complete rear end from S4 installed. Main issue is getting the B4 cables to work. What cable levers did you put on the calipers?

I used the S2 levers. This is because the S4 levers have a different fitting for the cable end. One is ball and one is barrel.

Done the same thing to my B4 Avant with a B5 S4 rear end, swap over the B4 caliper hand brake levers onto your B5 calipers.
Be careful not to break the plastic lever stops when tightening the fixing nut like I did
