Wanted a good pic from where is the Bomb in a 20V urq

Wanted: a good pic from where is the Bomb in a 20V urq.

Because i a´m rebuilding my Urq 10V, and need to know where exactly the 20V bomb is placed.
Do have now a bomb whith the piping en streering pump of a 3B S2.
So perhaps a pic of a 3B S2 would perhaps help also.

    Greetz from Holland

Probably sound stupid asking but if you dont ask you'll never find out.

Whats a bomb??? In car terms, i know of the things that go bang.

Otherwise known as brake pressure accumulator - skim the technical pages at S2central.net for the lowdown.

It gets the nickname 'bomb' as it is essentially a metal canister that is highly pressurised with an inert gas to provide emergency hydraulic assist in the event of servo failure. If you cut one open it would be a bit 'bomb' like - allegedly !

DUnno who coined the term originally - its not at all unique to the S2 ...

Ahhh, nice one, cheers Paul. Didn't think it would take long before someone came along and enlightened me.

Not a 20V urq, definitely a '91 3B Coupé, in Panther Metallic too. Nice.

                    Bomb

                    Very similar to i s2 i discovered.
My old bomb was placed on the engine mount.
The bracket i use is from a S2, but now in my urq.
Even the holes where already driled.

So this also used in other engine type urq´s
