    Brake options? 5x130 RS2 hub/brake conversion

Since I've decided to go full blown RS2 on my Coupe I want to get rid of my 5x112 brakes and focus on the 5x130 conversion.

The wheels are RS2 18x8.5 et52 Cup1s. I can now fit larger than Big Reds up front. To justify the massive brakes I hope to run some track times and also bring the power up to 400whp.

I would like some opinions on the mixtures of parts

    I am leaning towards;
    RS6 calipers
    RS4 Discs with 5x130 hat ( possible? ) choices?
    Custom carriers ( Corey/Bry? )
    Cheers mis amigos,

If you are using RS2 hubs then you can use quite a few Porsche discs.
Remember though that if you are upgrading the fronts that big you will need to balance the rears.
I have noticed a curious thing with the neuRS4 disc, Audi list one part number for it (8E0 615 301 AB) yet it is directionally vaned and cross drilled, so one side goes one way the other another.
If the Porsche disc doesn't help then yes you can use the RS4 item with custom bells.

      Thanks for the response Corey.

RS6 calipers will work then. Any opinion on which Porsche Disc I should be looking for? or what a pair of bells would set me back? RS4 discs sounds mighty interesting:mischeif:

Stock RS2 rears are 299mm and more then large enough even if you upgrade to larger fronts. Cayenne 350mm with 6-pots up front should do nicely

          ohhh doggie,,,

u should go yellow 6 pots off the new 911 turbo....

u could go ceramic also if you wanted......
the 911 turbo of 07 uses the 6 pot yellows up front and the 4 pot yellows in the rear (both with 350 mm f/r).......woooo hoooo...
          $$$$$though

          try

Yes that sounds like the one Greg. Pretty much a straight fit kit if I use Porsche Calipers and Discs.

you never know though when that place will get a 911 turbo with the full set you need
its definetly worth a call before going another route and buying new stuff.....ceramic or not....
(and yes, ceramic is kinda pointless on a street/ track car but hey, if you get a good deal, why not )
and you can definetly make deals with them too....It worked for me

The new RS4 disc is not directionally vaned, just vented. It does not have the vanes contained in the rotor to draw air through and gas out of the core of the disc, unlike like the old RS4 or many AP rotors.

I know the rear RS2 hubs are 944 but did you find a Porsche p# for the fronts?
