      spanner size

i took my caliper off earlier this week. i only needed a 14 mm spanner to undo it from the caliper. Its 11mm if you undo it from the fixed part( other end off brake flexi). It could be different as your brake pipes could be from a different supplier or braided?

its to remove the hose from the caliper

I'll be clamping the hose and removing the calipers for a rebuild, so really just need to get the hose off the caliper

Yup - they are getting stripped and dremmeled tomorrow, will be painted up good as new

Found out why they were seized - the last owner never thought to replace the fecked dust seals when they changed the disks and pads... just goes to show how quickly muck and filth will wreck a pair of calipers - the disks and pads can't have covered more than a few hundred miles
