Better pictures of those well bedded in discs. Look away now if you're of a sensitive brake disposition...

    Ck.

Shocked, exhausted, hosed, bushed, dumped, chipped, mounted, filtered, gauged, packed, intermittantly wiped and braked. I mean broken. Now, about the car...

They're "perforated". The holes are cast rather than drilled, meant to reduce the potential for cracking.

Yup the calipers are on central. It's the inside faces that are super-worn. The other disc (used as a stand in the pictures) isn't quite so shagged, but it's still somewhat less than even.

Yeah it was a slightly nervous drive back from the garage where the original pictures (first post in this thread) were taken.

I have to say i have not ever been convinced that they dont work. In conjunction with directional vanes in the disc, they should work really well to provide some additional cooling.

If the performance drop was so bad using a cross drilled/cast disc then the likes of Brembo and Porsche etc wouldn't use them IMO especially not on a high performance car. I think the option of a wide diameter disc, the vanes and the additional cooling through the cast holes/cross drilling means you can reduce the weight on each corner as you can increase performance from a smaller diameter disc.

Nope, it's just standard muck and dust inside the wheels I think, although there is quite a lot of it

Yup. They weren't binding at all.

                                The same on both disks?

Most wear on the inside edge...means the inside pistons have been doing all the work, or the sliders are seized

Keep a very close eye on disk wear...
