    Corey,
Very eloquently put but I only gave an honest answer as to what the brackets cost me. Whats wrong with that?

Agreed if you are machining a batch on a n.c. but manually milling one set as I did. Set up and machining is easily done in an hour.

I'll do you a price for 400 no problem but you might get a shock at our hourly rate, it could easily be double what you'd be charged down your way. Blame the oil industrly for making Aberdeen an expensive place for engineering

Luckily I was able to carry the brackets in my lunch box so transport costs were kept to a minimum . Charge what you need to make a profit Corey, I do.

Personally I would prefer to buy a warranted part that I know is going to fit.
I don't do mates rates, I don't suppose you do either, but I can know that any component I/we machine is to the highest standard. The inspection processes that our work goes through before and after it has left us mean I know just who to blame if something doesn't fit etc.

Cheeky I don't mind, or thought provoking, or inquisitive, or even a decent bit of banter is fine. Personally I think your price of £95 for the brackets is pretty good, it's certainly less than I would charge but it doesn't alter the fact that it would only take me an hour to machine 'em. .

And can we cross-check that with the correct Audi part number for the right 323x30 disc - I wasn't aware there was two flavours until this thread (unless GSF have sent you a disc from a Mercedes or somethin)

RS2 carriers bolt straight on but they cost about twice the price of our machined SEAT brackets (£95+VAT for the pair btw )

    smith9669,

What caliper part number do you have?

D'oh. That sounds like the sort of thing my local GSF would do.
    I'm glad you've sorted that.

I have the RS2 carriers which I'm reliably informed bolt straight on with 323x30 disc and 996 monos. Hope I'm not being deluded here... That stuff has sat in a dang box for nnnnnnnnhhhhhhhhhhhggggggggggggg three years - OMG that is bad.

    Paul
I would like to know this too. 034 list the RS2 bracket in both a machined and non machined version. These were listed for use with the 996 caliper with the 323 A8/S8 rotor. I e-mailed them for an explanation but have not heard back from them. I do not mind paying the difference between the two (65USD) but still would like more information. Corey?
    Thanks, Chris
